Speaker of the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Moses Wetang'ula on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 told the House that the National Assembly has received five Bills from the Senate for consideration. 

Three of these Bills originated in the Senate, while the other two originated in the National Assembly but were sent to the Senate for consideration.

The Speaker of the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Moses Wetang’ula hosted the Apostolic Nuncio of Kenya and South Sudan, H.E Hubertus Van Megen, who paid him a courtesy call in his office at the National Assembly on Thursday, 11th April, 2024.

The Diaspora Affairs and Migrant Workers Committee met with officials from the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection led by the Cabinet Secretary, Hon. Florence Bore, on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Parliament Buildings.

The Ministry officials appeared before the Committee chaired by Hon. Lydia Haika (Taita Taveta) to give a response on the status of Bilateral Labour Agreements (BLAs) and the recruitment of nurses to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
