Kenya and the United States of America to enhance collaboration of Parliamentary diplomacy for mutual economic benefit of the two nations.  

The Parliament of Kenya and their Canadian counterparts will explore ways to enhance their collaboration and exchange on best parliamentary practices.

This emerged during a tour of the Centre for Parliamentary Studies and Training (CPST) by the Speaker of the Canadian House of Commons, the Rt Hon. Greg Fergus, this afternoon.

 The first call for enhanced cooperation was made by Hon. Rachel Ameso, the CPST Board Chairperson, who hosted the 4- member delegation which has been in the country on a 4-day tour of the Parliament of Kenya.

The Public Investment Committee on Social Services, Administration, and Agriculture (PIC-SSAA), chaired by Hon. Emmanuel Wangwe, on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 met with East African Breweries Ltd, Managing Director (MD), Ms. Jane Karuku, to discuss National Social Security Fund’s (NSSF) investment in EABL.  

National Assembly Speaker Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Moses Wetang'ula held a meeting with the Speaker of the House of Commons in Canada, Hon. Greg Fergus in his office at Parliament Buildings.

Hon. Fergus is in the country with a delegation from Canada comprising MPs among other leaders for an official visit to Kenya.

The Sixth Annual Conference of the Hansard Association of Kenya (HAK) kicked off yesterday, Tuesday April 2, 2024, in Naivasha, Nakuru County.

The four-day Conference themed ‘Leveraging on past successes in the Era of Artificial Intelligence’ brings together all Hansard Editors and Reporters from the Parliament of Kenya, representatives from the 47 counties and honorary members from the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA), Parliament of Uganda and the National Assembly of Tanzania.
