Members of the National Assembly have approved the Cancer Prevention and Control (Amendment) No. 2 Bill, (National Assembly Bill No. 45 of 2022) with Amendments.

The Bill sponsored by Hon. Rahim Dawood sought to amend the Cancer Prevention and Control Act, No. 15 of 2012 to provide for training of health cadres in the specialized medical field of oncology, to include cancer treatment as part of the provision of primary healthcare and incorporate the use of e-health and telemedicine.

The National Assembly has passed the Anti-Money Laundering and Combating of Terrorism Financing Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2025 with amendments.

The Bill sponsored by the Leader of the Majority Party, Hon. Kimani Ichung’wah underwent its first reading in the House on Tuesday, March 4th, 2025, seeks to address technical shortcomings in Kenya's legal framework.
