The Clerk of the Senate
The Clerk of the Senate is the administrative and procedural head of the Senate and oversees the day-to-day operations and affairs of the Senate. The Clerk of the Senate as provided for in Article 128 of the Constitution is also the Secretary to the Parliamentary Service Commission and Chief Executive Officer of the Parliamentary Service. The Clerk’s roles and responsibilities are further expounded in the Part 3.

Serjeant at Arms
The Chief Serjeant-at-Arms is an office in the Parliamentary Service charged with duties involving service to the Speaker, Members, the Clerk and other staff of the National Assembly and performance of chamber and ceremonial duties. The Serjeant-at-Arms also perform a number of miscellaneous security and safety duties for the general welfare of Parliament. In performing these duties the Office of Serjeant-at-Arms perform the following duties:-
