SENATOR GEORGE MBUGUA SEEKS FOR A STATEMENT ON THE TRANSFER OF THE ONLY SPECIAL NEEDS TEACHER AT NGANO SPECIAL SCHOOL IN OL-JOROROK IN NYANDARUA COUNTY.
Senator George Mbugua has sought for a statement from the Senate Standing Committee on Education on the transfer of the only special needs teacher at Ngano Special School in Ol-Jororok in Nyandarua County.
In his request, Sen. Mbugua wants the committee to provide the current enrollment, pupil to teacher ratio and social workers at Ngano Special School stating the number of pupils who require specialized support from special needs teachers and social workers.

Sen. Hamida Kibwana has called for an urgent action in ensuring health and safety in all schools following the tragedy at Mukumu Girls High School.
In a statement before the Senate, Sen. Hamida appealed to authorities and everyone to pull together and be committed to ensuring safety of children and endeavor to bring about long lasting improvements that will help future generations.
PRIME CABINET SECRETARY SET TO APPEAR BEFORE THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY
On Wednesday, 26th April 2023, the Prime Cabinet Secretary, Rt. Hon. Musalia Mudavadi, will be appearing before the National Assembly to answer questions regarding the steps being taken to reduce the cost of essential goods and fuel, and to address the decline of the Kenyan shilling against other currencies.
The announcement was made by Hon. Kimani Ichung'wah, the Leader of the Majority Party, during a statement on the floor of the National Assembly.
