Members of the Kenya Women Parliamentary Association (KEWOPA) have committed to ensure the two-third gender principle is achieved in Parliament.

This commitment was made during the National Dialogue Forum on the two-thirds gender principle. The Forum brought together KEWOPA Members and the Multi-Sectoral Working Group (MSWG).

Speaking during the event, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon. Gladys Boss, assured Members of her unwavering support to ensure women secure their rightful slots in Parliament.

Turkana County Governor Jeremiah Lomorukai appeared before the Senate Committee on County Public Investments and Special Funds, today, to answer questions about audit concerns within three county funds. The committee, chaired by Vihiga Senator Godfrey Osotsi, focused on the Turkana County Education and Skills Development Fund, the Turkana County Executive State and Public Officers Car Loan and Mortgage Scheme Fund, and the Turkana County Emergency Fund.
