Parliamentary staff have been urged to embrace a culture of physical and mental wellness to enhance productivity and overall performance at work.

 

Speaking this Friday during the official launch of the Parliamentary Sports event at Ulinzi Sports Complex, the Clerk of the Senate and Secretary to the Parliamentary Service Commission, Mr. Jeremiah Nyegenye, highlighted the importance of fitness and emotional well-being in the workplace.

 

“We want to entrench a culture of physical and mental wellness among Parliamentary staff,” said Mr Nyegenye.

The Senate Committee on Education, Chaired by Sen. Betty Montet, today held a consultative meeting with Nairobi Governor H.E. Johnson Sakaja and his County Executive Team to deliberate on the current status of Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) and Vocational Training Centres (VTCs) within Nairobi County.

 

The session formed part of the Committee’s ongoing national assessment of ECDE and TVET implementation across all 47 counties.
