THE HOUSE TO RESUME REGULAR SITTINGS ON TUESDAY, 9TH FEBRUARY, 2021

The National Assembly will resume its Regular Sittings on Tuesday, 9th February, 2021 at 2.30 pm. During the initial of the Session, the House will consider and approve its Calendar for the Fifth Session.  Five Committees will also be reconstituted, including the House Business Committee. The House and its Committees will also consider the Calendar will reflect the special circumstances occasioned by the Covid-19 pandemic and the Budget Policy Statement (BPS) for the FY 2021/2022 and the two Annual Revenue Bills.  The House will also prioritize pending Bills sponsored by the Majority Party and those sponsored by Committees. Also in the list is about fifty (50) Bills sponsored by Individual Members (previously referred to as private Member Bills) and various Reports of Committees.
