Speaker Muturi leads call for Repatriation of ill-gotten wealth at the 8th UN Anti-Corruption Forum in Abu Dhabi

The Kenyan delegation to the Eighth (8th) Session of the Conference of the State Parties to the United Nations Convention Against Corruption has strongly urged counterpart Member States to facilitate a mechanism for the repatriation of ill-gotten wealth stashed abroad, but whose repatriation has been greatly hampered by lack of policies that support this remedy in the fight against graft.

Speaker Muturi seeks to intensify Parliamentary ties with Serbian Counterpart

Sen. Kihika asks International Parliamentarians to Advance Gender Equality through Legal Reforms

The President of the Bureau of Women Parliamentarians, Sen Susan Kihika has challenged MPs to embrace legal reforms in the advancement of gender equality. 

Addressing over 700 MPs drawn from 150 countries at the opening of the General Debate of the Inter-parliamentary Union (IPU) in Belgrade, Serbia, the Senate Majority Whip urged them to carry out civic education in their constituencies, on the benefits of gender equality.

Women Legislators Root for greater Inclusion in Decision Making

Women Legislators have called on Commonwealth Parliaments to open up more space for women participation in governance and in the decision making process.
