The Clerk of the Senate of Kenya, Mr. Jeremiah M. Nyegenye, accompanied by members of the Senate Wellness Committee and staff, today paid a heartfelt visit to the Paediatric Oncology Ward at Kenyatta National Hospital in a show of solidarity and care for children undergoing cancer treatment.

During the visit, the delegation spent time with the young patients, engaging them through songs, warm interactions and words of encouragement that lifted their spirits and brought smiles to their faces. They also presented donations aimed at supporting the children’s care, comfort and overall wellbeing.

The visit created moments of joy and reassurance for the children and their caregivers, highlighting the importance of compassion, emotional support and human connection alongside medical treatment.
