All preparations have been finalised for the Senate to begin impeachment hearings against Nyamira County Governor Amos Kimwomi Nyaribo, with proceedings slated for Wednesday 3 and Thursday 4 December 2025. The plenary hearings, during which the full House will convene as a trial court are expected to be closely watched as Senators decide the Governor’s political future.
