The Clerk of the National AssemblyΒ  Mr. Samuel Njoroge today attended the Church Funeral Service of the Late Ol Kalou MP Hon. David Kiaraho where he gave a tribute on behalf of the Management team in honor of the Late MP.Β

Mr. Njoroge acknowledged the delicacy of a situation where a deceased politician leaves behind a family that needs time and space to mourn and honor their departed, saying it is a situation most often than not, is unfortunately disregarded during the funeral process.Β

He applauded the Widow Mrs. Jackline Kiaraho for her strength during the mourning period, and for welcoming the entire political class into her homes despite her grief.Β

Commending her innovation of the Association of the Spouses of Elected MPs, the Clerk stated that this is an initiative that has since brought together wives of MPs who have continued to share in their common interests.Β

β€œHon. Kiragu as a politician,Β  gave himself and his resources to his people indiscriminately.” Said Clerk Njoroge. Adding that, β€œHe chose when to speak, always adviced early, remained non-controversial, and had a special seating place in the house near colleagues with similar traits.”

The Clerk, while acknowledging the gap left behind in the areas the late MP was of great impact, intimated that as the management of the National Assembly, it was an honor working with the deceased MP who shall be dearly missed, especially his invaluable contributions to the legislative processes.Β

β€œHon. Kiaraho wanted to speak and be in the spaces where infrastructure was discussed, he loved order and planning on matters the country’s future.” Said Mr. Njoroge.Β

Adding that; β€œHe chose relevant topics to engage in, and desisted from engaging in anything that did not involve growth and development for his people, the legislature, and the country at large.”

In conclusion, Mr. Njoroge encouraged the widow, children, and the entire family of the late Hon. Kiaraho to trust in God to provide guidance and restoration beyond the loss of Hon. Kiaraho.
