The Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Transport and Infrastructure Hon. George Kariuki laid before the floor of the house the report on the consideration of public petition (No. 14 of 2024) regarding legal recognition and protection of E- hailing motorcycle riders and delivery personnel

The Public Petition No. 014 of 2024 by the Digital Boda Drivers Association regarding legal recognition and protection of E-hailing motorcycle riders and delivery personnel, was reported to the House on 18th September, 2024 by the Honourable Speaker on behalf of the Petitioners.

Members of the National Assembly are debating the Equalisation Fund (Administration) Bill (Senate Bill No. 14 of 2023), which seeks to repeal the Public Finance Management (Equalisation Fund Administration) Regulations, 2021. The Bill aims to provide an administrative framework for the management of the Equalisation Fund, as established under Article 204 of the Constitution.
